How do I save money by purchasing from Fence-Depot?
The customers that save the most amount of money by purchasing fencing from Fence-Depot are those who install the fencing themselves. Since we are a local fence installation company in Northeast Ohio, our installation techniques are available online and in our installation manuals. As a service to our customers, we also have several experienced, qualified associates in the office during business hours to help answer questions that cover any situation. Customers can also save money by purchasing their fencing from Fence-Depot and then can hire an outside source for their installation. Most fence installation companies purchase fencing from manufacturers or distributors such as Fence-Depot. The fence installation company will then mark up the materials and charge the customer accordingly. By purchasing direct from Fence-Depot, the customer can bypass this markup. 
How do I place an order?
In general, Fence-Depot prefers that the customer fax or email a simple drawing of the proposed area to be fenced. This drawing should include the dimensions of the proposed fence, the type, style, and height of the fencing, and the number of gates needed. One of our knowledgeable fence professionals will then determine what material is needed to install the fence. This will assure the buyer that the correct materials needed to complete a project are ordered. Making sure that all materials needed for a job are ordered correctly saves time and money! If additional materials are needed after the original order is shipped, the customer has to wait for those materials to be made and pay shipping on those materials. (This is something you’ll want to avoid.)???
How do I pay for my fence? 
Fence-Depot accepts several forms of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Another option for payment would be to send in a personal check, bank check or money order. Funds can also be sent via electronic wire transfer.
Do I have to pay tax?
Most likely, you will not have to pay tax on your order. However, there are a few states which are not exempt from paying tax when a purchase is made from Fence-Depot. Most contractors that are purchasing as a reseller could/should be tax exempt. 
How is the fencing sent to me?
Most fencing material is shipped by common carrier in a standard size semi-truck. The shipping company is contracted by the manufacturer to deliver the materials to you. The truck drivers are not employees of the manufacturer. This means that the customer is responsible for the delivery process. The shipping company is only responsible for delivering the materials to the specified site. They are in no way obligated or responsible for unloading these materials. Everything that is delivered to you can be hand unloaded and is packaged in such a way that the heaviest boxes weigh no more than 100 lbs. Fence-Depot recommends that our customers have at least two people on hand to unload a delivery. 
Will Fence-Depot install my fence? 
Fence-Depot has a local fence installation company available to our customers who live in the Northeastern Ohio area. This local installation company prides itself in having over 20 years of experience in the fence industry. For sales of fence material via the internet, Fence-Depot mainly sells and distributes the highest quality fence materials that have a proven track record in the field. Fence-Depot can help you with any installation questions you may have and is able to provide installation manuals on products sold and viewed on-line. Our customers maximize their savings by buying direct from Fence-Depot and installing the fencing themselves. You always have the option to purchase your materials directly from Fence-Depot and then hire a local contractor to install it for you.
If my fence is for a pool, will the fence I buy meet pool code requirements? 
Pool code requirements vary from city to city all across the United States. We can help you determine what your codes may be and provide technical specifications for various styles of fencing. It is however, your responsibility to find out what codes are required for pool settings in your area 
Can I return the material if I am not satisfied? 
We sell only the highest quality fencing in the industry and make every effort to assure our customers are satisfied with our products and services. On the rare occasion that a product needs to be returned it will be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Since all items are paid in full at the time of shipping, customers will receive a refund less the restocking fees and shipping charges. All items returned must have the written consent of Fence Depot LLP along with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. To obtain a RMA number we must be contacted within thirty days of delivery and all material, packaging, and documentation have to be in original condition. All returned merchandise is inspected upon return and necessary adjustments will be made to your refund amount. Custom orders, damaged material, or used fencing is not returnable. Return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
What if I receive damaged material? 
All deliveries are sent with a “bill of lading’. Any shortages or damages must be documented/reported immediately on this “bill of lading”. The damages or shortages are to be reported in writing, when you are asked to sign for the delivery. We ship proper quantities in good condition. Once your order leaves our facilities it is the responsibility of the delivering carrier. Damage discovered after delivery must be reported directly to the carrier immediately as concealed damage. This type of claim must be done promptly as most carriers will not consider claims after a certain date from delivery. They may want to inspect packages, goods and all shipping containers before a claim can be made. After inspection, the carrier will provide you with all of the proper paperwork needed to file a claim. This paperwork should then be forwarded to Fence-Depot so your claim can be processed. The replacement of your lost or damaged materials will be expedited during the claim process for your convenience. Do not deduct losses from your Fence Depot LLP invoice while awaiting replacement material. Fence Depot LLP will assist you in every way possible to collect loss or damage claims from the carrier. There is no cost to the customer to replace lost or damaged items as long as the aforementioned policies are followed. However, we are not responsible for cost of replacement materials or the freight charges for shipping of the replacement parts or materials if the policies above are not adhered to. Ultimately, this is the responsibility of the carrier and we will make every attempt to recover missing or damaged items for you.
